Duke and UNC are 10-15 min away, major shopping centers are 10 min away, and Downtown Durham with DPAC and DBAP are less than 15 min away.

We had an event to attend in Durham and needed a place to stay for 1 night. John's place was perfect! Charming, comfortable and very clean. It's completely remodeled and features fancy shower heads and brand new pots/pans with free snacks in the kitchen. I was a little concerned about the beds, because they're low to the floor, but it turned out fine. The mattress was very comfortable and I had a great nights' sleep. There were plenty of pillows (which is important to me). The couch was also comfortable and we didn't have any trouble using the TV. It was easy to find and very close to Duke Campus - 7 minute drive. It was also close to the highways but felt very safe and secluded. The patio shown in the pictures is on the side of the house so it's not visible from the road. The house would comfortably house 8 people and would be a great place to land for family events, university events, or sporting events. I highly recommend Crickets and Fireflies!
